College Internship Program

As an intern for NVEEE, your efforts will support our work in bullying and suicide prevention, youth leadership, and LGBTQ+ and other social justice initiatives. Students with exceptional time management and organizational skills are encouraged to apply to this unique experiential learning opportunity.

About the Program

 
  • As an intern for NVEEE, your efforts will support our work in bullying and suicide prevention, youth leadership, and LGBTQ+ and other social justice initiatives.
 
  • Deadline: Part-time and full-time internships are available year-round.
 
  • Location: Remote/Virtual
 
  • Compensation: This internship is a volunteer opportunity. Students may also choose to receive academic credit, if applicable.

Types of Internships

 
  • For-Credit: An intern program that is related to a specific academic topic and offers college credit for participating. The student is responsible for getting their school’s approval.
 
  • Service Learning: Students get learning experience through performing community service.
 
  • Practicum: In collaboration with a course at the graduate level of university aimed at giving grad students practical, hands-on experience in a topic that had only been discussed academically up to that point.
 
  • No-Credit (Traditional): The student will not receive academic credit for this internship.

  • Displays exceptional time management and organizational skills.
 
  • Ability to be self-motivated, work independently, and show integrity by taking ownership and accountability for your projects.
 
  • Readiness to accept guidance, embrace teamwork, and display a strong work ethic.
 
  • Eagerness to engage and use critical thinking skills during trainings, brainstorming sessions, and team meetings.
