Peace Ambassador Leadership Program (PALP) Orientation

PALP Orientation: Building the Foundation for Leadership

The PALP Orientation marks the official start of each new Peace Ambassador Leadership Program cycle. During this session, students connect with fellow participants, meet their program mentors, and explore what it means to lead with purpose, empathy, and accountability. Orientation includes a detailed overview of the program calendar, leadership expectations, and opportunities for growth throughout the year.

Students also choose their community service project group, begin planning how they’ll contribute to the NVEEE community, and receive guidance on how to start or lead a school-based Peace Ambassador Club. Through interactive discussions, team-building activities, and goal-setting exercises, students begin shaping their leadership journey and understanding their impact, both individually and collectively.

By the end of Orientation, participants leave with a clear roadmap, a sense of belonging, and the motivation to serve as agents of change in their schools and communities.
