Key Moments of Recognition

In addition to being entered into the Congressional Record, NVEEE has been invited to actively participate in shaping conversations around mental health and youth safety:

NVEEE was expressly invited to participate in a Congressional Roundtable alongside legislators and mental health professionals to address youth suicidality and disparities in Florida. This invitation highlights NVEEE’s expertise and leadership in tackling these urgent and complex issues.

On November 16, 2019, Commissioner Eileen Higgins declared it NVEEE Day in Miami-Dade County to celebrate the organization’s first decade of pioneering work in bullying prevention, mental health advocacy, and youth leadership development. This local recognition underscores the profound impact NVEEE has had in South Florida, inspiring safer, more inclusive communities.

Our Impact in Action

These honors are more than symbolic—they reflect the real-world impact of NVEEE’s work. From empowering young people to become changemakers in their schools and communities to partnering with lawmakers and professionals to address systemic issues, NVEEE has consistently delivered meaningful results.

Our recognitions are a direct result of the tireless efforts of our team, board members, student leaders, and community supporters who share our mission of creating a more compassionate and equitable society. Together, we have demonstrated that collaboration and advocacy can lead to tangible change in the lives of youth and their families.
