The Miami Dolphins proudly hosted their annual Thanksgiving Dinner for over 300 local community members at Hard Rock Stadium’s Miami Grand Prix Paddock Club on November 14, 2023. Dolphins players, staff, and cheerleaders came together to serve delicious holiday meals to families from more than 50 organizations, including Football UNITES™ partners, the City of Miami Gardens partners, and local faith organizations.
Guests enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving feast featuring ham, turkey, and sides prepared by Troy’s Barbeque, a Miami Dolphins Minority Restaurant Program member, and dessert from Sugarbud. Dolphins players also engaged with families through crafts, a 360° photo booth, and cookie decorating activities, creating a memorable evening for all attendees.
In addition to the dinner, Dolphins players surprised participating families with a turkey and nonperishable food items provided by Goya, ensuring they have the essentials for their Thanksgiving celebrations at home.
“We are proud to continue this tradition of giving back to the South Florida community, especially during the Thanksgiving season,” said Miami Dolphins Vice President of Community Affairs Kim Miller. “This event is part of our ongoing commitment to unite and support local families, positively impacting those experiencing food insecurity or financial strain.”
This event is one of many efforts under the Football UNITES™ initiative, which works year-round to support the South Florida community and provide assistance during the holiday season.
