Teen-to-Teen (13-19)
The role of the Mentoring program for NVEEE is to provide the framework for positive relationships between the business and school community as well as the community at-large. These relationships will allow our youths to make positive connections between the world of work, school, and their community.
Our Peer to Peer Mentoring program is designed to assist in the social, personal and academic issues with our youths. Peer to Peer mentors are our youths ranging in age from 15-19 years old. We match potential mentors with youth mentors that have some similar interest and can provide insight on potential issues they may be facing.
Becoming a Peer Mentor is an awesome challenge, yet has the potential to be one of the most empowering and rewarding experiences our youths can enjoy during these formative years of their lives.
