NVEEE’s Mentoring Program

The purpose of NVEEE’s mentoring program is to prevent bullying and teen suicide by providing student role models and professionals the opportunity to provide leadership and companionship to youth and young adults in the areas of academic and social development.

As you and your mentee begin your communication, exploring values, interests and goals, you will find yourself making a difference and having a positive effect on a young person’s life. What you may also be surprised to see is that you will be learning more about yourself, too. Mentoring is a shared opportunity for learning and growth.

Mentoring provides significant benefits. As a mentor, you will be:

• Making a difference in someone else’s life.
• Learning more about yourself.
• Giving back and contributing to the future of our youths.
• Having fun.

To be a Mentor at NVEEE you will need to complete the NVEEE_Mentor_Application.  The application process includes: an initial interview as well as completion of our application and a background check. If you feel you have what it takes to be a mentor please contact us so we can begin the application process.
