Not On My Watch

Details:

National Voices for Equality Education and Enlightenment (NVEEE) Inc., campaigns and workshops asks students, teachers, community leaders, and politicians nationwide to get involved in the efforts to end school violence by not being a bystander. The Campaign is a two-part program that consists of Public Services Announcements featuring our Teen Advocates, and the “Not On My Watch” Pledge.

NVEEE’s “Not On My Watch” Public Service Announcement (PSA) -

The PSA campaign targets youth and young adults to get actively involved in raising awareness of bullying, labeling and bystanderism.  Students are encouraged to create short PSA’s surrounding themes of peace in schools, community service, and denouncing labeling, bullying, violence, harassment, and unhealthy learning environments.

NVEEE’s “Not On My Watch Anti-Bullying Workshop” -

At their request, NVEEE provides training and support to private and public school communities grades K-12, as well as colleges and universities. The NOMW workshop teaches the different types of bullying, identification of what constitutes bullying and harassment, and the effects these behaviors have on families and communities. This workshop provide a safe space where students can feel free to have an open dialogue of their school climate, and leave empowered with a different perspective of handling bullying, labeling, harassment, and peer pressure, and steps they can take to help reduce and possibly prevent future occurrences in their schools.

NVEEE’s “Not On My Watch” Pledge -

NVEEE’s Not On My Watch Pledge targets everyone from students to community members and leaders. We ask that everyone take the pledge as a reminder that they can make a difference, and have the responsibility to do so.
